Montreal Canada

Got to go visit my man over a short weekend. It rained all day Saturday but the fallowing pictures are from our time together on Sunday.

The next set of pictures are from "The way of the Cross and the Gardens of the Oratory."
Origin: this was the fulfillment of one of Brother Andre's fondest dreams. He wanted to offer pilgrims an open-air setting conductive to meditation and to prayer on the mystery of the passion of the Christ.
The statues were created by Montreal artist Louis Parent between 1943 and 1953. They were carved out of Indiana buff stone and white Carrara marble by Erocolo Barbieri between 1952 and 1959. They were highly praised by critics of religious art.

Matthew 3:3b
“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
    make straight paths for him.’”
